Rail Network Closures
KiwiRail and Auckland Transport are upgrading the Auckland rail network. During these upgrades, please visit the AT website for Planned Rail Closures and rail bus replacement timetables
A significant amount of work has already been completed. The rebuild replaces old foundations under tracks and upgrades drainage, allowing more reliable train journeys and helps prepare the network for City Rail Link.

KiwiRail Rail Network Rebuild
KiwiRail’s Rail Network Rebuild (RNR) is an upgrade of the Auckland rail network one section at a time, to bring you more frequent services and faster journeys.
