Auckland One Rail (AOR) is delighted to announce the appointment of Gavin Panter as our new Chief Operating Officer, from 19 February 2024.
With more than 30 years’ experience in the railway industry, Gavin brings a wealth of international operating knowledge and leadership to AOR.
Throughout his career, Gavin has held key positions, including Director of Operations and Safety at Chiltern Railways UK, National Control Manager for Network Rail in the UK, and senior roles at Sydney Trains, where he served as the Signal Box Operations Manager and Head of Operations Control.
In his most recent role at Resonate, Gavin led the implementation of groundbreaking integrated traffic management software for delivering service performance improvements. His expertise in driving operational efficiency and innovation aligns with AOR’s vision to deliver world class rail.
